Halloween already?

No...Just an awesome Super Hero birthday party for our friend Jacob!

She had fun dressing up like Bat Girl. She's really in to super heroes now. For Halloween she says she wants to be Spiderman. But it changes everyday, so we'll see come Halloween.

10 months Wow

He's so smart he know exactly what to do with the remote. He points it to the TV and shakes it. I can't believe how big he's getting, it's so crazy. They really do grow up so fast.

He's really proud of his new trick, "So Big!" I love trying to teach him new funny "tricks." I'm working on blowing kisses and flexing his muscles. He's pretty good at kisses still working on the muscles. Man, I love this age.

I'm kind of worried that he's going to be a biting toddler. He always has to bite things and he bites hard. I just thought his hair was really funny in this picture. I guess he had just woken up or something. Too funny.

Nothing much to say about this picture. Just cute and funny. I just loved his straight legs and flexed feet, and the funny look on his face.

Segway Date Night!

So we've been trying to go on dates every week and last week went and rode the segways around the golf course at Turtle Bay. It was so fun. We could not get a good picture of both of us on them because it was dark and the flash was weird and there was always a glare from the reflectors so this is as good as you get. Brett's starting to do his Segway Tours this weekend so wish him luck. We're excited to see how they do. You should all come try them out, they are fun!

Why I love Hawaii (said in sarcastic tone!)

So one day something started stinking in our kitchen and I could not figure out what it was. I thought it was dirty diapers in the garbage, but the smell was still there after taking the garbage out and spraying air freshener a million times. So I'm sniffing around and notice everytime I open the oven I get a good wiff. So I start pulling the oven out and see just half of this little trap, the half with the gecko and cockroach on it. So I'm thinking that's gross but I doubt that's what's causing the smell but I figured we'd better get rid of it anyways because it was really nasty. So I pull the oven out a little more to be able to get back there and I saw the other half and started dry heaving right away. Of course I made Brett get it and throw it away, but man was it stinky. So now I'm thinking oh great we have rats in our house along with cochroaches and geckos which we already knew we had:) We like the geckos though, they make fun pets and they eat the cockroaches so they are our friends. So...who wants to come stay with us?!

Oh...and the lovely centipede!! I've heard horror stories about these things but I have not actually seen one until today and it was in my own house! I was freaking out. These things will sting you and I hear it hurts pretty bad. Fun huh? But here is my theory, they are in the process of ripping out all of the cupboards in our apartment building so all of these little creatures are being digged up and are on the loose in our apartments so as soon as our old ones get torn out we are spraying pesticide like crazy before we get the new ones in and hopefully that will be the end of our fun little friends. Don't be jealous that we live in Hawaii everyone!

How do you get a 3 1/2 year old to stop sucking her thumb? It's so weird because she didn't even start doing it until she was like 2 1/2. I don't know what to do, it's really starting to bug me. I feel like she's way to old to be doing that!

He's such a happy baby. He finally figured out that he can crawl in the sand :( Which makes it not to fun for me because he doesn't love the sad all over him so he crawls up on to me and gets me all sandy and just wants me to hold him. I vote for the pool!

See what my lovely son does during his naps? And see how lovely our TVA apartment walls are? So I guess when I put him down for a nap he stands up and peels the paint off the wall. He woke up with paint chips all stuck to his face and all over his crib. Awesome huh? So I finished peeling it back so there are no more little chips sticking out that he can pick at.
