I broke my toe!

It's my middle toe in case you can't tell. In the x-ray if you look close at the base of the toe you can see the break. I wish I could say I broke it doing something cool but I didn't. I just hit it on the doorway to my room. I was just running out of my room and thought I just stubbed it and I went and sat down and saw that it was sticking out at an angle. It really grossed me out and it really freaked me out because I knew it was going to have to be popped back into place. I just thought it was dislocated and not broken, but we went to the ER and they took an x-ray and sure enough it was broken. So I had to stick my foot in a bucket of ice to numb it because they couldn't give me any pain meds since I'm nursing. So I froze my foot off for ten minutes and then the doctor pulled my toe over and taped it to my other toe so it would stay straight. So it's kind of a pain having a 3 month old and not being able to walk. I'm getting a wood shoe that makes it so I don't have to curl my toes when I walk so we'll see how that goes. I know it's kind of funny so you can laugh and I won't feel bad.

Dinner Time

Here he is eating crickets. Yuk! but kind of cool.

Taylor bugging Jack

I love listening to Taylor talk to him. I swear she doesn't learn this from me :)

Jack 2 Months

This was Taylor's first attempt to carry Jack. Well she actually did carry him, all the way from the couch to her bed without us knowing. She wanted him to sleep in her bed. I was sleeping when this happened but you can imagine I freaked out when I heard. You can bet I'll be keeping a better eye on her from now on.
He loves the tub but he hates getting out.

This is what he does everytime we go to the beach. He just sleeps. He doesn't stay asleep in his carseat anymore but the second I get him out and lay him on his stomach he is out and stays like that the whole time. I know you're not supposed to lay them on their stomachs but that's the only way he will sleep, which means that's the only way I get some sleep, so I do it. You got to do what you got to do!

He's getting so big.

Mid yawn. I love his little tongue.

Our new pet!

So Brett's cousin Jared is staying with us and they went hunting for Chameleons and they caught one and brought it home for us to keep as a pet. At first Taylor wasn't so sure of it, I don't blame her. They are kind of scary looking, but now she loves it. She wakes up every morning and has to go and tell him good morning and she's always wanting to hold him now. Brett catches flies for it to eat and we'll sit there are watch him eat those all day long. It's pretty cool how they use their tongues to snatch them up.

Blessing Day

December 28th, we blessed our new little baby Jack Larsen Lee. He is such a good baby and he has been a blessing in our lives. We love baby Jack.

Christmas 2008

The rains came down and the floods came up!

Right before we left for Utah we got flooded. These pictures are taken just right outside our front door. It adventually made its way in our front door and got our entry way carpet a little wet. It also came in through the foundation and got our back room totally wet, so they put new carpet back there. Definately a winter to remember.

Pet Gecko

Notice the tiny gecko in her hand. She found a little pet and just wanted to hold it all night long. We finally told her we had to let him go because he was probably getting hungry and the next thing we know she's trying to feed him some of her spaghetti.
